The new CSS random() function is starting to see the light of day. I feel like using it with the scale property on all these lame corporate dashboard stats cards we keep building, sit back and let it deploy to production!

Arc browser is dead, there's a demand for a substitute and dozens of beta browsers are popping up everywhere. Some are just vibe coded wrappers, others built with more care. I was never an Arc user and i'm sticking with Helium. But i tinkered and have to say a few of them look and feel really good.
A new addition to my favourite monospace font list, Paper Mono, joins Ioskeley Mono, Fragment Mono and Realtime Text.
Its amusing to watch a vibe coder struggling when asked to show the file path and LOC of the thing they just implemented, on their own computer, outside their Agentic development app. I know its cruel, i'm an idiot!
We've embraced AI full on and build 10x faster. But sometimes it feels like we could have written better code ourselves in the same amount of time we spent setting things up, writing prompts, reading/writing markdown files and steering the agents. Just saying.
Here's a tiny noteboook web app i built called Stash for my personal use. Everything is stored in localStorage, create notes and folders, backup and restore options, dark/light mode, no sync, no servers, doesn't need an internet connection. Just open the html file in your browser.
Looking forward to the day i can just carry an 11" iPad Pro with a full local dev environment to work at the office. Plug it into the 24" monitor at my desk and get on with my life. MacBooks weigh a ton, a mac mini is the middle ground.
Tailscale, i know, but its not the same thing. Come on Apple!
Helium browser - Been using it for months, its hands down the best simple and un-bloated chromium based browser that does the job for me. Coming from an ex-hardcore Firefox user that says a lot.
I'm ok with AI as a dev tool. But old habits never die, i love writing CSS, i need to tinker with it. I can let go of everything else but CSS.
